Pastor Giardino has recommended for families intending on participating in Family Camp this coming May that they set aside money each week to help defray the cost.

Our church is looking forward to a few more baptisms soon (Sunday, Oct 17th?) after many attended the baptismal class this past Sunday.

At tonight’s service (Oct 6th), the Cult Series begins. Different men from the church will be giving presentations each Wednesday evening.

We are looking forward to the installation of carpet into the Teen Room this week. This blogger needs to make a visit to see if it’s been installed yet.

This Friday into Saturday, Oct 8-9, is the Men’s and Boy’s overnighter at Gospel Light’s Oxford, NY camp. Please see Tom Hamilton soon if you wish to be among the campers.

This coming Sunday morning, Pastor Giardino will be finishing his sermon titled, Lost At Sea.

If you haven’t already done so, pick up a copy of the booklet, “The Sunday Evening Service”. Written in 2000 by our own Pastor G., the booklet explains the reasons for attending Sunday evening service. Copies are in the rack by the church’s west entrance.

The Gospel Tract being worked on by the men’s Sunday School is nearly complete. Draft II was discussed last Sunday morning.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the Youth Rally in Medina at Grace Baptist Church, Friday evening, Oct. 15. Eric Capaci is the guest preacher.

The following morning, Saturday, Oct 16, at 9:30 AM, GLBBC will be hosting a Men’s Breakfast. Again, Eric Capaci will be the guest preacher. Please invite a friend.

The annual Couples Conference is fast approaching: Oct 22-23. $225/couple.

Gospel Light’s “Outreach Ministry” is something everyone can get involved in. We want to put the Gospel in every house in Gates, Greece, and the west side of Rochester. Please see Gabriel Gonzalez or Steve Derefinko.

The annual Harvest Dinner is scheduled for Oct. 29 on the Gospel Light calendar.
