As we are all well aware, our internet searches and surfing can lead us to very good things and very bad things. Care and caution are needed. Your blogger just happen to stubble upon a very good thing, an article written and posted by another Christian blogger. The blog is called Grace and Salt and is maintained by the Pastor’s wife, Terri Cannon, of Hope Baptist Church in Bettendorf, Iowa.
The article is titled, “Things to think about”, and starts out this way:
“We often have choices. Should I or shouldn’t I? There are many things in the Christian life that we sometimes refer to as “questionable.” … So how do we make a choice when faced with things questionable? Viewing a choice in light of Scripture is the wisest thing.”
Then the article lists the questions with scriptural verses to help answer the question. The first two are given here as examples:
❏ Is it right?
“All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.” 1 John 5:17
❏ Will this bring me near some temptation?
“But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.” Romans 13:14
There are a total of 33 questions with scripture, so expect to spend some time reading and contemplating with this article. You’ll find it > HERE <, just one click away.
