House 2 House

Meeting people where they are at is one of the best ways to tell them about Christ. We meet weekly and go door-to-door to give a word in season to those who may not have the answer of eternal life.

Acts 8:30-31 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me?

We use this opportunity to answer questions and invite folks to attend Gospel Light BIble Baptist Church.

Street Preaching

One of our greatest opportunities is to reach people on the street. Affectionately called “Traffic Church”, we greet folks on the corners of Howard and Lyell here in Gates, NY. This ministry has afforded us the ability to not just hand out a tract, but to greet people with a smile and personally invite them to our services. We have seen several come from this touch point and look forward to being on the streets each week.

City Bible Study

We meet at 401 Lyell Ave. on Wednesday afternoons at 3 PM. This Bible study, followed by fellowship over a bowl of soup, has been a great opportunity to go into our Jerusalem. 2014 was a year of 150+ professions of faith. We hope for many lives to be changed in 2015 as we venture into a new church, True Light Baptist Church, meeting on Sunday mornings at 9 AM in addition to the Wednesday Bible Study. Click the poster below for more information.

Our discipleship ministry gives new believers an opportunity to sit down and do a one-on-one Bible study with someone who has already been through the lessons and can lead them to grow in understanding of the scriptures.
