What an excellent recap to an exceptional weekend at Gospellight. I am still relishing and enjoying the spirited weekend that The Lord blessed us with. The men’s prayer breakfast was just a tremendous encouragement. Listening to 50 Men singing hymns and the message on PILLARS by Pastor Strobel spoke to my heart, and many others as we witnessed a full altar. Personally, on Sunday morning, the attacks were evident and just as Psalm 122:1 states… I was glad when they said unto me.. let us go into the House Of the Lord, The moment pastor Brado began to teach on the book of Samuel, Boy was I glad that I came to the HOUSE of The LORD!
Sunday Morning and evening, OUR AWESOME, TREMENDOUS, 2ND TO NONE, Pastor G delivered Fresh Manna from Heaven. I especially enjoyed the opportunity we had to ‘polish our windpipes’ and worship The Lord ‘ in song’ during chior practice. The people at Gospellight are some of my favorite people in the world. I am sooooooo blessed to be a part of this church!!!

I’m so blessed to call Carolynn Merriman my sister in the Lord. There are few Christian woman I know that I don’t deserve to be in the same church with let alone be their pastor and Sis. Carolynn is one of them. I am profoundly impacted by her and her husband Larry. Her devotion to her Saviour, her husband, her family, her church is an example to anyone who knows her.

Thanks Joe for reminding of this really nice simple timeline. Salina and I worked on this together. While several charts are available in various books and resources this is neat because I like certain events on one chart. With Salina’s illustrating it came together nice and of course it’s unique so we can use this on our Blog and Website. I hope this is a blessing for all to see.

What a blessing it is indeed!!! With all my heart, I love to go out and preach the Gospel. (the Men do the preaching and we do the passing….lol) But I do love to see people see us holding up signs. And I will still continue to pray for DANCING DEREK. I pray that us younger adults will be able to be a GOOD witness to HIM.

This sermon spoke to my heart in particular during these meetings. Just as when the law is brought to light and our sin becomes “exceedingly sinful” in the light of God’s law, so I became “exceedigly humbled” when the question was asked, “What does God think of you?” What a question! It brings my mind to the Judement seat of Christ when I’ll have to answer to my Saviour.
This sermon was inescapable to anyone who is honest with God and themselves. Certainly God used this sermon and Brother Dave in conjunction with the Holy Spirit and the scriptures to convey what I would consider a classic sermon worth revisting from time to time for a reminder and reality check.
Praise the Lord for his faithfulness to reprove me in love for my benefit, and for his many thoughts toward me.
Thank you, Jesus!
